Timing matters as well. Concrete work should be scheduled early enough to allow proper curing, but not so far ahead that an unfinished slab sits exposed through unnecessary weather and jobsite traffic. Material deliveries should be confirmed before equipment and crews are mobilized. A practical schedule includes room for rain, especially on Texas projects where conditions can change quickly.
